   While working at IISc Bangalore, I developed an interactive dashboard for visualizing the yearly and country-wise retraction data of research papers across the globe. The goal was to present insights on global retraction trends and help researchers, policymakers, and institutions analyze the integrity of research publications. Key Responsibilities: 1. Designed and implemented a full-stack web application using ReactJS for the frontend and Flask/FastAPI for backend services. 2. Integrated ChartJS to visualize data trends, including retraction growth, researcher integrity, and alteration rates by country. 3. Enabled users to compare multiple countries' retraction statistics and provided data filtering and classification options for further insights. 4. Ensured a responsive and user-friendly design with a toggleable dark mode. 5. Collaborated with the Open Research Funders Group for data sourcing and project guidance. This project allowed me to apply my skills in ReactJS, Flask, FastAPI, and data visualization using ChartJS, ultimately producing a tool that tracks and presents key research retraction metrics worldwide.

Being a developer well-versed in HTML, CSS, JS, and NodeJS, I found the experience both challenging and rewarding. The support and collaboration within the development team were instrumental in my professional growth, and I am truly grateful for the guidance I received. This internship allowed me to apply my existing skills and provided exposure to cutting-edge technologies. I appreciate the valuable insights gained during this period and look forward to applying this knowledge in future endeavours. Thanks to the entire team at Roadz for an enriching experience.

   Chhanv Foundation

   As a Technical Educator at Chhanv Foundation, I was responsible for designing and delivering a comprehensive basic computer skills course to a class of 40 acid attack survivors, aged between 12 and 60 years. The primary objective was to empower them with digital literacy, enabling them to achieve financial independence and reintegrate into society. Key Responsibilities: 1. Developed a custom curriculum covering Basic Computer Operations, MS Word, MS Excel, and an introduction to Power BI for data analysis, tailored to the unique needs of the students. 2. Adapted the course for survivors with limited English proficiency, ensuring the material was accessible and easy to understand. 3. Created a supportive learning environment by implementing accessibility features such as larger on-screen text and oversized mouse cursors for students with impaired vision, due to the impact of acid attacks on their eyes. 4. Provided hands-on training and personalized attention to ensure each student grasped the material and could apply it confidently. 5. The course culminated in enabling students to perform basic computer tasks, enhancing their employability and supporting their journey toward financial independence. This experience was both challenging and fulfilling as it allowed me to leverage my technical skills to create real, impactful change in the lives of survivors by giving them the tools to rebuild their confidence and capabilities.
