Slice completes merger with North East Small Finance Bank

Bengaluru-based fintech startup Slice has announced the completion of its merger with North East Small Finance Bank (NESFB), effective from October 27. The merger has received necessary shareholder and regulatory approvals and will consolidate the operations, assets, and brand identities of both companies into a single banking entity. The merged entity aims to create a technology-driven bank and strengthen its financial position while expanding operations, improving risk management frameworks, and enhancing customer experience. The merger will also deepen the presence of the bank in the Northeast region of India.
