AI enhancements coming to Apple Vision Pro, rollout expected next year: Gurman

Apple is said to be integrating its new set of artificial intelligence (AI) features, announced at WWDC 2024, into the Apple Vision Pro mixed reality headset. These features include advanced Writing Tools, improved Siri, and Genmoji. While the exact release timing is unclear, it is unlikely to happen this year, with expectations for early next year or with the release of visionOS 3 in late 2025. The Vision Pro's hardware, including 16GB RAM and the M2 chipset, should easily support these AI capabilities. The delay may be due to Apple expanding its cloud infrastructure to support these features.
