Amazon To Launch Its Quick Commerce Biz 'Tez' This Month

Amazon is set to launch its quick commerce segment, called 'Tez', this month in India. According to Samir Kumar, Amazon India's country manager, the company is focused on delivering within 15 minutes, aiming to tap into the fast-growing quick commerce market. Kumar also mentioned that one in five items shipped from Amazon is a grocery item, and the company plans to ensure the safety of customers and delivery associates in its quick commerce operations. Amazon's entry comes amidst rising competition in the quick commerce space from players like Reliance Retail and Flipkart.
