Apple plans to invest more than $250 million to expand Singapore campus

Apple Inc plans to invest over $250 million to expand its operations in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore. The company will upgrade two buildings to expand its regional campus. Apple first entered Singapore in 1981, and now houses over 3,600 employees in the city. Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, expressed pride in the connection the company has built with the Singaporean community. Cook is set to meet with Singapore's prime minister as part of his Southeast Asia tour.
