Auditor of Zomato subsidiaries resigns

The auditor of Zomato's subsidiaries, Zomato Hyperpure and Blink Commerce, has resigned, allowing auditor Deloitte Haskins & Sells to be appointed in their place. This change is expected to make the audit process more efficient. The previous auditor, Batliboi & Associates, had been appointed as the statutory auditors of the subsidiaries from April 1, 2023. The resignation comes as the management of Zomato wishes to align the statutory auditor of the company with the auditors responsible for the audit of consolidated accounts, in order to streamline the audit process at the group level.
