BanyanTree in talks to exit seven-year-old bet from second fund

Private equity firm BanyanTree is in discussions to sell its entire stake in a Bangalore-based company to continue its monetization efforts ahead of raising its fourth fund. BanyanTree has already exited three companies this year and is looking to make further exits to strengthen its position before the new fund is launched. The firm has not revealed the name of the company it plans to sell its stake in.
