Despite the cancellation, The Don Lemon Show will still go on, with the Musk interview scheduled to air on various platforms. X stated that Lemon's show is welcome to publish on their platform but they have decided not to enter into a commercial partnership with it. Musk expressed that the show's approach resembled CNN, which he believes is failing.
