Lighthouse Canton to launch ₹250 cr fund to back portfolio winners

Investment firm Lighthouse Canton is planning to launch a ₹250 crore momentum fund to invest in high-performing portfolio companies. The fund aims to invest in 15-20 companies that have demonstrated exceptional growth. Lighthouse Canton's CEO, Shilpi Chowdhary, said the focus would be on companies that can potentially deliver high returns. The fund will have an average ticket size of about $2 million and will primarily target Indian companies, although it may also consider other similar opportunities. Lighthouse Canton's existing fund, LC Nueva, has already invested in around 33 startups.
