Model N signs $1.25 bln go-private deal with Vista Equity

Healthcare IT company Model N has announced that it will be going private in a deal with investment firm Vista Equity Partners. The agreement values Model N at approximately $1.25 billion, with Vista acquiring all outstanding shares for $30 per share. This represents a premium of 10.7% to the company's last closing price. Model N specializes in providing revenue management software to the life sciences and high-tech industries. This is Vista's fifth take-private transaction in the past 18 months.
