OneVerse Marks Fourth Buy In Gaming Space With PokerSaint

Metaverse and gaming tech startup OneVerse Gaming has acquired online poker platform PokerSaint, marking its fourth acquisition in the gaming space. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. OneVerse Gaming, which has previously acquired Calling Station, Spartan Poker, and BatBall11, has plans for further acquisitions in real money gaming and casual gaming categories. The company is also seeking an additional investment of INR 250 crore ($31 million) in its portfolio of planned investments. The Indian online gaming startup ecosystem has faced challenges recently due to macroeconomic factors and increased taxation.
