Reliance Jio has announced a tariff hike and two popular prepaid plans, priced at ₹395 and ₹1,559, were discontinued. Users were disappointed as these plans offered unlimited 5G data and extended validity periods. Customers who wanted to recharge in advance were unable to find these plans on Jio's website. The discontinuation is believed to be a result of the relatively lower Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) generated by these plans, leaving long-term users frustrated.
