TikTok is now letting creators in more countries earn money for their effects

TikTok is expanding its Effect Creator Rewards program to more regions and reducing the minimum requirement for creators to start earning rewards. The program, which rewards creators for the effects they develop through TikTok's AR development platform, will now be available in 33 additional countries. Previously, creators needed an effect to be used in 200,000 qualified videos within 90 days to start earning rewards, but now it only requires 100,000 qualified videos. TikTok is also transitioning to a new revenue per mile (RPM) model, where creators collect rewards based on the number of qualified videos that use their effect within 90 days.
