Who is Prafulla Dhariwal, India-born OpenAI scientist praised by Sam Altman?

OpenAI research scientist Prafulla Dhariwal has received CEO Sam Altman's praise for his work on the startup's new AI model GPT-4o. "GPT-4o would not have happened without the vision, talent, conviction and determination of Prafulla," Altman said. Born in Pune, Prafulla has been working with OpenAI since 2016. He completed his undergraduate studies at MIT.
