Xiaomi Calls On CCI To Withdraw Antitrust Report On Flipkart, Says It Contains ‘Sensitive Data’

Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi, has raised concerns over sensitive company data contained in a regulatory report on Flipkart. The report, produced as part of an Indian antitrust investigation, included model-wise sales information. Xiaomi has requested that the Competition Commission of India (CCI) retrieve and destroy all copies of the report, before issuing a redacted version. The investigation found that Xiaomi, Samsung, and other smartphone manufacturers colluded with Flipkart and Amazon to benefit certain sellers and launch products exclusively on their platforms, allegedly violating antitrust laws in India.
