YouTube now lets creators share exclusive Shorts with their paying subscribers

YouTube is introducing Members-only Shorts, a new feature that allows creators to share exclusive short-form videos with paying subscribers. In addition to existing membership perks, such as custom emojis and livestreams, subscribers can now access extra content through this feature. Creators can use Members-only Shorts for special announcements, behind-the-scenes content, or sneak peeks. This move follows TikTok's expansion of its subscription offering to non-LIVE creators, enabling them to share exclusive videos to paying subscribers. With over 70 billion daily views, Shorts has become a popular platform for monetization within YouTube's Partner Program.
