Figuring Out • 1y

Steve Jobs' Obsession with Quality In the 1970s, most people didn't care about how computers looked, and they were often packaged in wooden briefcases. However, Steve was so obsessed with product quality that he spent months searching for an attractive plastic casing and also weeks making a simple and beautiful user manual for the Apple II computer. Despite these things doubling the cost, his attention to detail paid off, with over 6 million units sold. ONE MORE On June 29, just after Steve introduced the iPhone to the world, Jobs noticed scratches on his phone and he insisted on changing the screen. Even though, the delivery day was promised, everything was ready for production, he demanded the change. So Apple's team quickly found a glass manufacturer and began production within weeks. This led to the sale of over 200 million iPhone units. And today when people don't mind spending more for quality, providing best quality is a necessity. What do you think?
