The key is to start small. Try volunteering for leadership roles in your current projects. Maybe offer to mentor some junior devs. It's all about gradually building those management skills while you're still in your tech role. Oh, and networking is huge. Start chatting with folks in management positions, pick their brains. An MBA can help, but it's not always necessary.

considered a Business Analyst role? It's a great middle ground between tech and management. You get to use your tech knowledge to talk to the dev team, but you're also working with stakeholders to figure out what the business actually needs.
