Germany's anti-discrimination agency quits X over anti-minority posts

Germany's Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency is closing its account on X (formerly Twitter) due to increasing intolerance of minorities expressed by users on the platform. The agency cites a surge in racism, misogyny, anti-Semitism, and other misanthropic content as reasons for leaving. They urge other organizations to do the same. X has faced criticism for the spread of misleading claims and doctored images, particularly after the recent Hamas attack in Israel. German government officials have not followed suit in quitting the platform.
