38% of IITians across 23 campuses remain unplaced in 2024. Out of 21,500 IIT students who registered for placements, only 13,410 secured jobs, leaving 8,090 searching for employment. I am thinking 🤔 if iit give such type of placement then what about tier-3 colleges ?

I have a doubt if there are only 16k seats then how 21.5k students registered and if we include students doing startups, higher studies and other activities then it will go near to 35 to 40k so your numbers don't seem to be justified or am I Missing something
